Lib Dems announce Connor Stallard for Throston

The Liberal Democrats in Hartlepool have selected Connor Stallard as their candidate for the upcoming Throston ward by-election on July 10th. This by-election marks the second time Throston residents have been to the polls in two months as an ex-Labour Councillor has resigned his seat.
Upon his selection, Connor said: "I’m delighted to have been selected by Hartlepool Lib Dems as their Candidate for Throston; Hartlepool deserves a fair deal from the Council and as Councillor, I’ll work tirelessly to deliver that.
I have always worked hard for our community, and if elected will work hard to act on local concerns, such as the state of roads, getting a fair deal for our council tax money, and supporting local services such as supporting youth clubs, something that is very close to my heart. Lib Dems across the North East, such as in Durham where we are the opposition have proven that a strong local Lib Dem voice can deliver the change our communities desperately need."
Residents have until to July 2nd to register for a proxy-vote if they cannot vote by post or in person for whatever reason.
